Hello all!

Here is another quick update, in the past five days since I have posted it has seems like weeks for me.  I have hit some peaks of fear and doubt wrapping my head around this next year.

I am a big planner, I love specific details and it has been hard for me fighting to surrender control to the Lord.

But

I feel like I've received an electric shock of excitement (!!) as I have learned new information about the trip, started packing my big backpack and meeting (virtually) some of the people I will go on this adventure with!

I am leaving for Training Camp in just 8 weeks! Training Camp is a 10-day introduction to life on the World Race, we are camping and exercising, team building and deepening with God.

I am buying my gear and booking my one-way ticket to Georgia to begin this journey!

There is so much to do, but I feel incredible Peace that the Lord is preparing me in His time at His pace. I am so thankful for your prayers, I can feel them!

I am still looking for a couple more monthly supporters as I work toward my fundraising goals. My next goal is $8500 by September 11th, would you join me in praising God for the progress so far! 

Thank you all for your love and encouragement. I am praying these 8 weeks of preparation would be full of joyful surrender and hope. That I would not become too busy to appreciate the waiting.
